Ghana’s finest female Afro soul and Pop
sensation, Irene Logan on GhOne TV’s rhythm show hosted by Berla Mundi, has
revealed why she doesn’t release songs too often as some of her fellow
musicians.
She said, “I want to do timeless songs, I just
don’t want to release songs that after some few months, no one will get to hear
of them or no one will play them”. She added that she always take her time so
that the best comes out of the songs, and that there is no need rushing it,
only for your song to die after few months. Irene has released master piece
songs like Kabila, Run away ft. Asem among other songs which are still in the system
receiving rotations.
For some time now, songstress Irene has heavily
descended on people who have chosen to bleach, and later turn it into more of a
campaign advising all and sundry on the need to keep the natural skin. When
asked why she started that initiative that in the first place, she disclosed, “There
is nothing expensive and beautiful as your natural skin, there is no need
trying to get rid of your natural skin only to regret your action later”.
On the inspirations behind her songs, she commented,
“I’m a storyteller, an emotional person, so when I write, more or less it translates
into my writings.
Irene’s vocal dexterity, stage performance has
made her the toast of many over the years. Irene has promised that she will be
rolling out various activities in the course of the year. The Adorable

She also revealed that she is set to release new
single with rapper Sarkodie soon, and not too long ago, she has started the
‘medo wo’ reach out initiative which is aimed at visiting basic schools to
advice the students on whole lot of stuffs.
