Event report:(See Photos): Sarkodie Rocks Vodafone’s X Concert at University of Ghana to the Fullest Leaving Students to Revel in Amazement

Over the weekend, history was made when rapper Sarkodie together with Joey B, Pappy Kojo, Dark Suburb among other acts rock Vodafone’s X Concert with sterling and electrifying performances.

Powered by Vodafone, the concert attracted tens of thousands of patrons who thronged the venue to witness performances from multiple award-winning dj, Dj Vyrusky, who was the man behind the wheels of steel.

Joey B as well as new act, Pappy Kojo also did their own thing rocking patrons to songs like Realer No, Wave among other songs.

Sarkodie’s entrance was the tipping point of the whole concert as patrons went agog upon sighting their star; his performance was just one cracker of a performance. As a master of the trade, performing for more than an hour was no big deal for him at all, and just when the crowd thought they’ve seen it all, they have danced it all, they’ve sang it all, then he started performing his hit songs back to back to back. Indeed, he was just something else on the night. Adonai, Love rocks, XXL, Megye wo gyal, among others were the songs he performed on the night. He ended his performance around 11:40pm, and thus bringing the concert to an end.
