News: It’s Official: Shatta Wale Is Not Part of This Year’s VGMA-Charterhouse’s PR, George ‘Aboagye’ Quaye confirms

There have been some speculations here and there that Dancehall act, Shatta Wale won’t be part of this year’s VGMA. The speculation got tensed as the rift between the act and Charterhouse, the organizers of VGMA still hasn’t been settled.

Ahead of the release of the nominees list this Friday, 27^th February at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, Charterhouse’s PR has confirmed in a radio interview that the 2014, Artiste of the Year is not part of this year's VGMA, reason being that Shatta Wale has made it clear that he is not interested in this year’s VGMA, and that they as the organizers don’t have any say, but to just accept his decision not to include him in the prestigious event.

Shatta Wale on ……..date took to his facebook timeline to announce that he is not interested in the awards. Take a look at the snapshot as well

Charterhouse will also announce the nominees of this year’s Unsung category, and the winner through public vote will have the opportunity to perform on the VGMA night proper.
