24th
December, 2015 will forever go down in the minds of concert goers who attended
Citi Fm’s 7th Edition of Decemba 2 Rememba as one of the best shows
they have attended.
The
show witnessed performances from Atom, Wisa, Gasmilla, Eazzy, Okyeame Kwame, Bisa
Kdei, Kontihene, VVIP but Stonebwoy’s performance on the night was just
something else.
His
entrance caused disarray as the audience stood to their feet and started
shouting and screaming in anticipation to his performance proper. Stonebwoy
mounted the stage exactly 12:25am with his hypeman, BeatzDakay.
Without
wasting time, he started his performance with some ragga freestyles then to ‘No
sir, Sheekena, Come Over, Not Again, Climax, and after performing his ‘Wicked’
song, he was able to warm his way into the heart of the patrons thereby
creating a rapport between him and the much packed crowd, even getting the
patrons mind off Wisa’s deliberate exposure of his ‘gorgormi-like’ office pin manhood
on stage.
After
performing some more couple of songs, he then took the patrons to journey
through the world of love rocks and reggae as he performed ‘Mama, Run go, his
cover of Sarkodie’s love rocks among other tunes.
It
got to a point that even the front seat patrons who would on regular basics
attend concerts and sit throughout the show couldn’t help it as they started
feeling the heat and before they could realize, they were also on their feet.
Readers, you should have seen Asamoah Gyan on his feet and his dance moves,
Hon. Dzifa Gomashie, Lydia Forson, Van Vicker, Bernard Avle and other VVIPS.
Indeed,
when you have good songs that the audience can relate to, they perform your
songs for you with great enthusiasm. Come and see the reaction of the crowd
when he dropped his new single, ‘Mightylele’ not to even talk of the ‘go higher’
moments. When he was performing his ‘Go Higher’ song, it was as if church
service was ongoing, the patrons were singing ‘Go Higher’ as if it was one of
those popular Methodist hymns. Men were dancing, women were screaming and
crying, it was like some sort of musical confusion was created among the
patrons.
He
ended his performance at exactly 1:07am leaving the patrons with goosebumps as
they certainly just couldn’t understand his level of energy on stage, strength,
his unique voice…
Indeed
Stonebwoy nearly reap off the AICC roof. What a performance it was, big ups
Stonebwoy for that energetic, sterling, stunning, mesmerizing, a performance
worth the patrons money and even more… Big ups BeatzDakay, Dj Justice, Blakk
Cedi and his business manager, Karl Gidiglo.
Asamaoh Gyan felt the heat and had to stand up and bust a move or two
