Stonebwoy come for your stone! Sting 2015 was a total flop as Ninja Man, Beenie Man, Gully Bop Made No Appearance

Forget Mr. Logic, self- acclaimed international dancehall promoter’s talk-talk about Sting 2015. All the top notch Jamaican blogs I have visited reported that Sting 2015 was a total flop, even more than the word. ‘flop’. The atmosphere was just something as if nothing was going on, to say the least, they said it seems Sting has lost its relevance.  

Prior to the 2015 edition of Sting Africa, BET award winner, Stonebwoy was chosen to represent West Africa. The pressure that was mounted on Stonebwoy was too much for him to contain that he was about canceling top notch shows like Citi Fm’s Decemba 2 Rememba, TemaFest….just to make it to the Sting Jamaica to play free show and even cater for his air ticket, hostel, food etc. but he and the management decided to just forget about Sting and concentrate on their well paid shows here in Ghana; a decision that was met with mixed reactions from the public with some saying he's not financially sound but making noise. Some called him 'Fuufukwa' among  ridiculous names.

Ninja Man, Beenie Man and Gully Bop were the headlining acts on Sting 2015 stage show. The annual show was held at Jamworld in Portmore last night.

Over the years Sting has been known for drama and Saturday night was no different after cops pulled the plug at minutes after 6 AM with some top acts left to perform including Beenie Man.

The promoters have not commented on the premature end, but sources close to the show told Urban Islandz that cops cite security concerns for their reason to shut down the event.

At minutes after 6 AM Sunday, patrons were seen streaming out of the venue while complaining that they want a refund for their tickets.
