For sometime lots of people have criticized
BET Awards for giving the awards to Africa act backstage and not the main
stage. This year especially the bashing
was really severe and this forced BETs to respond to the criticism.
Yemi Alade, Wizkid, FUSE ODG among others
have already thrown jabs at them for given awards to African acts backstage.
Commenting on their official Instagram page
in response to a comment a fan posted, they made it clear that BETs Awards to
African acts are not given backstage.
