most consistent music group, 4x4 has signed onto Jay Z’s music streaming site, Tidal
likewise Ghanaian musician D Black.
The
latest move means both Ghanaian musicians have another opportunity to sell his
trade digitally and made good money out of it. This basically means almost all their songs as well as albums will be on this platform
Backed
by heavy artiste-power/numbers, TIDAL is also owned by a number of high
profile global acts including Jay Z’s wife Beyonce, Usher, Rihanna, and Nicki
Minaj, among a host of others.
A
subtle campaign for greater commercial recognition, TIDAL was launched to offer
better value for the works of signed-on acts.
The
service offers CD-quality music and music video streaming with extensive
curated editorial expertise. TIDAL says it has access to more than 30 million
songs and 75,000 music videos.
Recently
rocked by resignations at its top management level, JAY Z and the other
founders say they are still hopeful of a decent breakthrough in the next few
years.
Tidal
offers seamless listening across mobile, tablet, desktop and network players.

direct rival to Spotify, iTunes, and other global music streaming sites, it
remains to be seen how well the 3-month-old subscription-based service fares.
