Would winning VGMAs award buy me a house or even a pin? Shatta Wale blasts Akwasi Aboagye on Live radio

A leopard indeed never changes its spots. From the beginning of this year, Shatta Wale revealed that he has changed and that he is now building a new brand titled towards the corporate side and as well has gone ahead to form a corporate team.

On Peace Fm’s entertainment review show on Saturday, Shatta Wale lost his cool, and started slapping the host Akwasi Aboagye with distasteful words among others.

Akwasi Aboagye on last week’s show gave an opinion that because of his inconsistency, Charterhouse should not nominate him this year in the VGMAs, they should rather wait and nominate him next year and it seems that statement didn’t go down well with Shatta Wale.

When Shatta Wale was called on the show to react to his supposed dropping 'beef' with Samini, he didn't even allow the host to introduce him proper, before the host, Akwasi Aboagye could say jack,  Shatta Wale said,

‘You, Akwasi Aboagye, I mean you paa, Akwasi Aboagye, you have to apologize to me for saying Charterhouse should not nominate me, I’ve told you guys times without number that it’s my fans who want me to be part of the awards…what do I myself need the VGMAs for? i say it's my fans, they are my god so i have to respect their decision. The VGMAs you guys are all over like that if i win the awards, would it buy me a house or even a pin? He screamed.

He continued, “I do music for my fans, and the people who love me, you Akwasi Aboagye, you don’t talk to me on any positive stuffs, you are doing this too much, whenever you call me it's all about my negatives, or you think you have the microphone before you? i can also have a radio station. I don’t play music for myself, I play music for my fans, my fans are my god, they said I should file for nomination, why should you be on Peace fm and say they should not nominate me? He blasts Akwasi Aboagye again.

Shatta Wale then disclosed that he will never and ever talk on Peace Fm again, and then rudely dropped the line on the host, Akwasi Aboagye.
