Sarkodie wins Best African Act for the 3rd Time at #Headies Awards, 2015 in Nigeria

Multiple award-winning Ghanaian hiphop act, Michael Owusu-Addo known in showbiz circles as Sarkodie has won the 2015 Best African Act at Headies Awards which was held at the Landmark Event Centre, Victoria Island in Lagos, Nigeria on new year’s day.

He beats stiff competition from Diamond Platinumz, Cassper Nyovest, Uhuru and AKA to win big the Best African Act for the 3^rd time. He first won it in 2012, lost out to Mafikizolo in 2013 came back to win it in 2014 and has won it once again in 2015.
 

This is the 10^th Edition of Headies awards, and Headies awards is the same as VGMAs here in Ghana, which is our biggest award scheme as well.
