I stopped Ak Songstress from getting married earlier this year – Manager, Duke Banson

Some managers have revealed that if it makes economic sense for them to marry their artiste or even do anything possible to prevent their artiste from getting married in the best interest of their act, they will.

They say managing an artiste from the scratch and making the act a top notch one is no joke, and that if a third party comes in, who doesn’t know jack about artiste management and other stuffs, it will hinder the plans they have for their act, and CEO of Paradise Entertainment, Duke Banson is no exception.

On AM Pluzz, manager of Ak Songstress, Duke Banson has revealed that Ak Songstress should have been married early this year but it did not work because the guy couldn’t seem to agree with the terms and conditions. He said, “Ak Songstress should have been married earlier this year, but it did not happen because the guy didn’t want to accept with our conditions, whatever the case is, this guy is failing to recognize that her career comes first.”

Duke also disclosed that he now wants to focus his attention on managing female brands reason being female musicians seem to be more faithful. “I’ve now decide to manage female musicians and stick only to managing female acts because they are more faithful than the men, you tell them your vision for them, and they are more willing and want to show that level of commitment” He said.

The former Adisadel College boy and CEO of Boomerang Night Club has managed acts such as 4x4, VIP, Sala, Mzbel among others.
