VVIP has revealed on the ‘One show’ hosted by Anita
Erskine that they don’t see any need competing among their own Ghanaian musicians
and has advised Ghanaian musicians should concentrate their effort and hard work
into competing against the outside acts.
“We are not in for any competition here in Gh, and
there is no need competing among ourselves, we have to rather compete against
them (musicians outside Ghana”, they said.
VVIP has released hit songs among others like,
Skolom, Selfie, OMG, Hustle. On why almost all the songs that they’ve released
are all smash hit songs, they made it known that it’s just because of hard
work, they said, “All our songs are hit songs because we put our all into them,
it’s all because of hard work”. They are set to release a new tune with BET
2015 award winner, Stonebwoy soon.
VVIP has again launched their annual Salafest, where
they feed about 10,000 Ghanaians on the street in the morning and in the evening,
organize a musical concert to crown it all.
They ended the interview by advising all and sundry
to be prayerful, believe in God and themselves and read their Bible since
everything is in the Bible.
