VGMAs 2015: (All the photos) DARK SURBUB WINS VGMAs,2015 UNSUNG CATEGORY

 

After weeks of intensive campaigning and voting, Ghana’s Rock Alternative Pop Band, Dark Surbub won big this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Unsung Category.

Dark Surbub whipped Nero X, Luther, Kingzkid, MzYankey and Koo Ntakra to clinch the enviable honour to perform on the VGMAs 2015 night proper. Dark Suburb will be sharing the same stage together with dancehall act Stonebwoy, Sonnie Badu, Patoranking, Yemi Alade, Wiyaala among other top notch acts.

The unveiling ceremony was held at the KFC’s Osu branch, with Blakboi and Caroline Sampson as the Mcs on the night, and staff of Y107.9 were there to entertain the crowd who gathered to support their respective nominees. The ceremony also witnessed performances from Koo Ntakra, Kingzkid, Nero X, MzYankey, Luther and the eventual winner, Dark Suburb.

The VGMAs night proper is this Saturday, 11^th of April at the Accra International Conference Centre.
