One of the most exciting heads on urban radio and television Giovani Caleb has quit his station.
Caleb has resigned from YFM and headed to EIB Network, which operates Live FM, a competing brand to his former station, as well as other properties including the newly acquired GHone TV.
Enewsgh.com is told Caleb is leaving the station to play a key role in at least two of EIB’s on air units; Live Fm and EIB's newly acquired GHONE TV
An important addition to a growing media brand that already has some of the best talents around, he may (on radio) reunite with some of his former colleagues including Sammy Forson, Jay Foley, and Jeremie Van Garshong, among a host of others.
An end to a successful journey, he rose through the ranks at YFM to become Programmes Manager. He was once voted Worker of the Year.
He also hosted the Late Night Celebrity Show on ETv, a station also owned by YFM’s handlers Global Media Alliance.
EIB Network operates GHOne TV, Starr 103.5 FM, Live 91.9 FM, and Kasapa 102.3 FM all in Accra, Ultimate FM (Kumasi), Agoo FM (Nkawkaw), and Empire FM (Takoradi).
Four new radio stations are going up in Cape Coast, Koforidua, Tamale and Kumasi in the next few months. The group also owns The Daily Heritage Newspaper.
