The keenly contested finale of the 2015 Miss Ghana beauty pageant,
which took place on Saturday, November 7 at the Accra International Conference
Centre saw 19-year old Antionette Kemavor, pharmacy student of Central University College, winning the coveted crown.
It was a
night of beauty, intelligence and music, with 21 young ladies competing for the
ultimate crown, Sleek Citroën C4 Aircross, and the bragging
rights to represent Ghana at Miss World 2015 in Sanya, China.
After some rounds of activities; Larisa Andre won Miss Ghana Gorgeous
skin award, Miss Eloquence went to Adwoa Konadu, Rebecca Asamoah won Miss Ghana
Fitness award, most discipline award as well as Miss Ghana Congeniality award,
Beauty with purpose award and top model award went to Eleanor Seku, Akorfa
Awuma and Antionette Kemavor. Miss Photogenic award went to Laria Andre and
Miss Talent award went to Naa Adoley Owuadey.
Larisa Andre, Rebecca Asamoah,Afua Asieduwaa, Louisa Tanti and Antionette Kemavor were the top 5 finalists who were selected among the 21 contestants.
Antionette Kemavor, pharmacy student of Central University College, emerged winner of Miss Ghana 2015, with
21-year old, Afua Asieduwaa, student of University of Ghana and
24-year old Rebecca Asamoah, a dental surgery assistant been the first and second
runners-up respectively.
Radio and TV personality Kofi Okyere Darko- KOD and Precious Bonsu
were the MCs on the night. Judges for the finale were, Carolina
Benjamin-Vasquez, Juliet Ibrahim, Inna Patty, Matilda Agyemang, Selassie
Ibrahim, Angelo Oluikoton, Amaria Deep S.Hari and Shika Kamara.
There were also musical performances from Steve Bedi, Gyedu Blay
Ambulley, Sherifa Gunu and Wiyaala.
