Dr. Duncan Says He Has No Problem With Sarkodie, Talks his relationship with Stonebwoy

Music observers and fanatics, as well as fans of Sarkodie who have not felt the presence of Dr. Duncan in the music career of Sarkodie in a while, have been talking and tinkering with all manner of speculations as to what might be going on between the two.

Some fans of the rapper even had the audacity to malign the CEO of Duncwills Entertainment, the label that discovered the artiste, when news of his (Duncan) involvement with dancehall act, Stonebwoy, in his Tamale concert made the news.

Duncan has suffered some backlash coming from some fans of Sarkodie who are calling him out for not attending the album autograph signing of the ‘Mewu’ rapper in Tamale but assisted Stonebwoy in his ‘Go Higher Tour’ in the same municipality.

Reacting to such negative talk, he stated that, people create unwanted controversies and read false meanings to issues.

According to him, he doesn’t have any problem with any artiste and sees nothing wrong with supporting any Ghanaian musician when he has the means to do that.

He stated that; he is baffled that the same fans realized that he was involved in the media expedition of Sarkodie which preceded the album launch at the West Hills Mall, but nobody talked about it, so, he is surprised the same people are now making noise now when he was absent for just one event related to Sarkodie.

“When Sarkodie was touring various radio stations with me, why didn’t people complain or speak about it? I think there are more issues we can discuss than trying to create rivalry and engineer problems when there are no problems,” he explained.

He went on to explain why he extended his support for Stonebwoy during his tour in Tamale.

“Every musician who passed through ‘Kasahare’ is my artiste and I will always see to it that, the person grows to his/her peak.. That person I shouldn’t necessarily be signed to my label before I can support him or her.”

He hinted that, he was available during the Stonebwoy’s tour and decided to pass through, but was not available during the autograph signing for Sarkodie.
