My Mum is gradually going blind due to ‘dumsor’ – Ghanaian Actress Yvonne Nelson

Ghanaian Actress Yvonne Nelson has cried out that her mother is gradually going blind after revealing that she is suffering from glaucoma, an eye condition that causes an increased

pressure in the eyeball that can damage the optic disk, which may lead to a gradual loss of vision.

This was made known by the ‘Bloodline’ Star via social media after a fan (Yao Boateng) complained to her through e-mail about her eye condition due to shortage of power supply.

In reply to Yao Boateng, Yvonne disclosed that her mom was also going through the same condition.

She wrote: “Sad, sad my mother is going through same.”

Yvonne Nelson has already organised a vigil which is on the 16th of May, 2015 over the power outage situation called ‘Dumsor’ in Ghana.
