All the Photos from Stonebwoy’s Exceptionally Sold Out Necessary Evil Album Launch Concert; Samini, Edem, Pappy Kojo & Others Perform

History was made on Saturday 16^th May when thousands thronged the La Trade Fair Centre for the Stonebwoy’s Necessary Evil Album Launch Concert. Indeed, attendance was just something else, what a crowd it was!

Powered by Coca Cola, and with great support from GhOne TV, Live fm, Pluzz fm, the concert kicked off around 10:32pm as underground acts such as Sadiki, Bastero, D’Sherrif, iJudah, Sasco, Haywire, Strongman, Luther took their turn to show off what they are made of. Promotion Commotion and Mercury Quaye were the Mcs on the night, with DKB and Afia Schwarzenegger passing through as well. Dj Justice was the man behind the wheels of steel.

Pappy Kojo started the performances proper around 12:36am thrilling the much energized and responsive crowd to tunes such as Realer No, Ay3 late, then came in Gemini, Edem and other acts

Samini’s entrance cause a disarray as many never expected that he would leave the States just to come perform at the album launch. As master of live band, he did not fail to make his presence felt at all. He performed hits upon hits upon hits songs like Scatter Badmind, Iskoki, Love rocks.

And just when it appeared that the fun was almost over, the event took a higher crescendo when the man himself mounted the stage. He performed close to 1hr 45 minutes dashing great tunes like Not Again, Real Warrior, Run Go, Climax, Submarine, Onumade among hit songs. What a performance it was… His performance was just one cracker of a performance, the crowd was very responsive throughout shouting and screaming.

Indeed, he gave the audience their money worth as they cannot help but to brim with excitement as they leave the Trade Fair Centre talking about how successful the show was. It was a concert not to have been missed at all.

Big ups to the organizers of the concert for pulling the show through.
