Gifty Anti Finally Speaks on the KSM Show: I’m Not Running for NPP, I’m Sorry to Disappoint a lot of People

Multiple award-winning TV Host, Gifty Anti on Friday made an appearance on the KSM Show where she sets record straight on her supposed NPP parliamentary ambition, her TV talk show, her relationship life, talks resignation from GBC and more.

On how the news all started that she is contesting on the ticket of New Patriotic Party, she

revealed that, “I woke up one Tuesday morning and congratulation messages were just flowing in-and-out; calls from the high and mighty in the society, from radio and TV stations, indeed it was just something else. Fine, I champion the course of getting more women going into parliament but that’s not in my plans for the next 5 years.”

When asked whether she was in the known and was even backing the circulation of the posters and other stuffs, she said, “truth be told, I knew absolutely nothing about the whole NPP stuff, I was clueless, I don’t know anything about it.” She added that it was later that she had the chance to know how it all started and who and who were behind it.

On why she had to resign from GBC after 17 years of dedicated service and concentrate on her own show, ‘the standpoint’, she disclosed that, “the scope of the work is becoming bigger and wider, I have to travel outside Accra to do other missions and more. At GBC, there were restrictions, and I wasn’t able to give off my best, so I had no option than to resign and concentrate on my own show.”  Gifty Anti’s own produced and financed show, ‘Standpoint’ will be 7 years come this July.

Gifty Anti also disclosed that she is now 45 years old but not that desperate to get married but she is seriously hooked up, and wedding bells might start ringing soon.
